About the Area

Seaside, Oregon

Seaside Beach has been a beloved getaway destination for those who reside in and around the Pacific Northwest for generations. The town’s 1.5 mile promenade and accessible, sandy beach make for an ideal stroll or evening bonfire. The small town with a population of only 6,500, is framed to the South by Tillamook Head which, with its forest of ancient Sitka Spruce trees makes for a beautiful hike overlooking the ocean and town below. The cove has ideal waves for cold water surfers, stand up paddle boarders and ocean kayakers and the downtown community is welcoming and hospitable. Fifteen miles to the North is the now trendy little town of Astoria, where Breweries like Fort George, Rogue and Wet Dog have set the tone for many other breweries to make their homes here. This quaint town on the Columbia River is the same one where the Goonies was filmed and retains its charm and pirate culture. You’ll find live music, shopping, food to accommodate your yogic diet, and ultimately a very unique and charming coastal culture.
